Applique/Monogram Orders

I am NOT TAKING ANY NEW ORDERS as of today. (March 28th) (Unless I've already told you I would accept your shirts!) I truly apologize! I have been without my machine for two weeks now! I am so far behind on my orders!! I am going to work really hard over the next couple of weeks to catch up. I'm due in about two months with our second child, so I want to make sure I can finish the orders that I have before his arrival. If I finish my current orders soon, I may accept a few more. I will update my blog if something changes. I am so sorry! I was not expecting my machine to have to be repaired! I hope you and your family have a Happy Easter!! Thanks again for your business!

My Blog...

The photos I have posted are of monogram/applique designs I've sewn. The photos to the right of my blog are of SOME of the many applique designs I can do. I have a wide variety of threads and fabrics to choose from. My maximum monogram size is 5x7. If you are looking for something in particular, please email me. I will post seasonal appliques as that season approaches. My email address is shufords@gmail.com. Thanks! Sommer Shuford

Items to order

I will do an applique/monogram on any item you bring me; however, I can also order items (dresses, t-shirts, pants, baby gowns, bibs, blankets, etc.) from monag.com and kiddykats.net. (Email me if you are interested in something on their website - don't pay attention to their prices.) I have several plain white bibs in stock now as well. I can also get nice, big burp cloths (not Gerber). Thanks!

For a normal size monogram:

$6 - single letter
$7 - three letter monogram
$7 or $8 - name (depends on length)

For a t-shirt size applique:

Monag short sleeve frill shirt

This is an example of the short sleeve frill shirt I can order from monag. It comes in a variety of colors.

Flip Flops

I love the brightly colored t-shirts that Walmart has for spring/summer this year! I'm going to be posting some pictures of my new spring/summer fabrics soon too - I just bought the fabric used on the flip flops.

"Grace" is done in the Love monogram font - one of my favorites!!

Two Hearts

This is very cute with pink and red fabrics on a white shirt too!

Valentine's Cupcake

This bib is serving as a Valentine's Day/Birthday bib. (Her b-day is on Valentine's Day!)

Football 2

I made this for a baby gift for someone. I've never used this football applique, but thought it was cute. The monogram font on the burp cloth is natural circle, and the font on the bib is Bobo.

Mickey Mouse Patch

This isn't the best picture because of the glare. The head can be done without the patch as well!

Same appliques, new fabrics

I've posted pictures of these appliques before, but not with these fabrics.

Airplane with Hearts

Cute Valentine's Day applique for a little boy! I can do this plane without the hearts as well!

Brown Zebra

I've been looking for BROWN zebra fabric, and I finally found some the other day (the fabric looks black in this picture though).

Towels

This was my first time putting an applique on a towel. The appliques shown are the chunky S, petal patch, curlz S, and snowflake.

Minnie Mouse

Unfortunately, this is the best pic I have right now of the Minnie Mouse outfit I made Grace for her b-day. My sister-in-law is sending me some more this week. This is a cute b-day applique that I could make as a Minnie or Mickey. I also found a website that has several Disney appliques for those of you who are interested!

Some Valentine's Day Fabrics

I'll be taking Valentine's Day orders as of January 9th. I'll also be placing a monag order soon if you're interested. The long sleeve interlock dress looks really cute with a Valentine's applique - (especially the white dress).

Bibs for Sale! (and cupcake design)

I am selling these bibs for $4 (plain). They are very soft and a great size! The applique is one of my favorite b-day appliques! I can put as many candles on the cupcake as you need!

Rectangle Patch

I did this rectangle patch on the brown monag dress that I can order. The font is the blackboard font.

Curlz B

Someone wanted me to do this curlz B with minky dot fabric (hard to see dots in pic!).

Santa

I've done three Santas this weekend, and this is one of them. (I did the other two on red dresses)

Hipster S

The S is done with the Hipster applique alphabet font. I have several other applique fonts, but I don't have pictures on my blog. I'll continue to do some others for you to see!

No More Wrinkles!!

I finally found what I've been looking for!!! I've been asking around looking for something that I can put on my fabric so that the applique doesn't wrinkle after you wash the shirt. (You can iron the appliques to get the wrinkles out, but I don't like ironing t-shirts:) Someone told me about Heat N Bond Lite. You iron it onto your fabric, and then you iron the fabric on the shirt before you do the satin stitch. No more wrinkles after washing!!! Yeah!! I'm so excited! This has definitely been a learning experience! I apologize to those of you who I've already done appliques for! From now on, you'll no longer have to iron them after washing!
