Applique/Monogram Orders

I am NOT TAKING ANY NEW ORDERS as of today. (March 28th) (Unless I've already told you I would accept your shirts!) I truly apologize! I have been without my machine for two weeks now! I am so far behind on my orders!! I am going to work really hard over the next couple of weeks to catch up. I'm due in about two months with our second child, so I want to make sure I can finish the orders that I have before his arrival. If I finish my current orders soon, I may accept a few more. I will update my blog if something changes. I am so sorry! I was not expecting my machine to have to be repaired! I hope you and your family have a Happy Easter!! Thanks again for your business!

My Blog...

The photos I have posted are of monogram/applique designs I've sewn. The photos to the right of my blog are of SOME of the many applique designs I can do. I have a wide variety of threads and fabrics to choose from. My maximum monogram size is 5x7. If you are looking for something in particular, please email me. I will post seasonal appliques as that season approaches. My email address is shufords@gmail.com. Thanks! Sommer Shuford

Items to order

I will do an applique/monogram on any item you bring me; however, I can also order items (dresses, t-shirts, pants, baby gowns, bibs, blankets, etc.) from monag.com and kiddykats.net. (Email me if you are interested in something on their website - don't pay attention to their prices.) I have several plain white bibs in stock now as well. I can also get nice, big burp cloths (not Gerber). Thanks!

$6 - single letter
$7 - three letter monogram
$7 or $8 - name (depends on length)

For a t-shirt size applique:

I did a tractor a couple of months ago with black gingham, but I like the brown gingham better!

New cords and minky dot

I bought some new corduroy, minky dot (great for snowmen!!), and various stripes and dot fabrics the other day. I LOVE the red and green dotted fabric for Christmas ornament appliques!

Basketball

Basketball season will be here before we know it!! After I took this picture, I noticed it's still a little wet around the edges of the basketball. (I have to wet it to get the top stabilizer off)

I think appliques look great at the bottom of an older girl's shirt!

Girl's party hat

I think this party hat is adorable!! You can put the child's name in the bottom "bubble", or you can put the initial or a number in the hat. I also have a party hat for a boy.

Monag Raglan T-shirt

I didn't applique this t-shirt, but it's a sample of the Monag Raglan t-shirt. The shirt is white, and the sleeves come in a variety of colors. Very cute!

Circle Patch with Monogram

I made this shirt to match some hot pink pants I bought for Grace. I love this circle patch! You can put anything in the center (appliqued letter, name, three letter mono, "big sister", etc.!) I also have a square, rectangle, star, and scalloped patch. Patches are great for COVERING UP monograms, etc. The shirt is also a monag t-shirt. It's 50% off this month too! I'll try to do some samples of my other patches so that you can see them!

Tiger Paw

"Go Tigers" is in the Serif Block font. The stitching around the paw is vintage stitching.

Truck and Tree

My first Christmas applique! This is one of my favorite Christmas appliques for a little boy! I used the Kim Single font for "Jack". The tree is done with green corduroy.

More Solids and one print

I bought these the other day and forgot to post the pictures on my blog.

I think this is one of my favorite appliques so far! I love this color green! (The shirt is one of the garanimal shirts from Walmart.) I'm going to do a pink and green one for Grace. Can't wait!

Corduroy Chunky T

I appliqued this T with a bright turquoise corduroy on a black long sleeve shirt. (The flash on my camera caused a little glare.) The corduroy fabric looks great on the appliques!

Dotted fabrics

I love fabric with dots:)

Striped fabrics

I don't have many striped fabrics, but I'm trying to add to my collection!

Corduroy fabric

As we were leaving Dalton today, we stopped at a fabric store, and I bought some pretty corduroy fabrics! I thought I'd post some pictures of them. I'll try to post some pictures of my other fabrics sometime later this week. I have a TON, so it may take awhile to get them uploaded! Keep checking....
